It’s official, Channing Tatum will play the thief turned X-Men in an upcoming movie that is yet to be revealed. X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner confirmed this during an interview saying that Tatum is perfect for the role and will take over the rogue, action-packed, card manipulator Remy LeBeau or Gambit.
There are talks that Gambit will potentially play a role in X-Men: Apocalypse which is the follow up for the X-Men: Days of Future Past movie this month; but also, Donner has some hint of a potential Gambit solo movie.
Fans know that Gambit is a mutant with a power of channeling his kinetic energy to his chosen weapons: deck of cards and his staff.
Which is more exciting? For me, both are. Tatum will be a perfect Gambit and I’m excited.
